Overview

The Massey Ferguson 230 is a two-wheel-drive utility tractor from Massey Ferguson's 200 series, produced from 1976 to 1983. This model was available with either a three-cylinder Perkins AD3.152 diesel engine or a four-cylinder Continental Z145 gasoline engine. It features a gear transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, manual steering with an optional power feature, and mechanical drum brakes. With an operating weight of up to 4000 pounds, the tractor supports a rear hitch and hydraulic system with open center design. Further options included an open operator station or a roll-over protection structure (ROPS) with a canopy.
