Long 610

The Long 610 is a utility tractor available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations, manufactured by UTB/Universal in Romania under the Long brand. Production ran from 1979 to 1990. It features a UTB/Universal four-cylinder diesel engine with a 219.4 cubic inch displacement and a power output of 64.2 horsepower at 2400 RPM. The transmission is partially synchronized, offering 8 forward gears and 2 reverse. It has a hydrostatic power steering system and independent contracting band brakes. The tractor comes with an open operator station, an oil bath air cleaner, thermostart pre-heating for cold starts, and a standard three-point hitch with category II/I. With a clutch size of 279.4mm and a dry disc design, it can accommodate significant loads, while the tractor's ballasted weight stands at 8985 lbs.
