John Deere 5055E (2015-)

The John Deere 5055E is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the 5E series, which has been manufactured by John Deere in Pune, Maharashtra, India since 2008, with this third version in production since 2015. The JD 5055E is powered by a 2.9L three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, generating 59 HP at 2100 RPM. It offers two transmission options: the first with 9 forward and 3 reverse gears with a partially synchronized dry disc clutch and the second a power shuttle transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears with a wet disc clutch. This tractor is designed with a robust power steering system and hydraulic wet disc brakes for improved control and safety. The operator can enjoy the comfort of a two-post foldable ROPS or an optional cab, catering to different working environments and operative preferences. The tractor’s versatility is enhanced with the capability to attach a John Deere 512 or H240 MSL loader, broadening its range of use from general farming tasks to more specific applications.
