John Deere 2755

The John Deere 2755 is a versatile utility tractor manufactured by John Deere in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and Saltillo, Mexico between 1984 and 1992. It was offered in both 2WD (4x2) and 4WD (4x4 MFWD) configurations. This series was designed to cater to a variety of agricultural tasks and came with an option of three transmissions: a partially synchronized gearbox with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears, a partial power shift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears, and a creeper transmission with 12 forward and 8 reverse gears. The tractor is equipped with a robust John Deere engine, which is a four-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit with a displacement of 239 cubic inches, liquid cooling, and a rated power output of 88 hp at 2300 rpm. Its chassis was designed to accommodate both open operator stations with Roll-Gard ROPS and enclosed cabs under the Sound-Gard trademark. Hydraulic power output was supported by a closed-center system, ensuring efficient operation and versatility for various attachments and implements.
