International Harvester 444

The International Harvester 444 is a utility tractor that was produced by International Harvester from 1972 to 1978. This model came with the option of 2WD (4x2) or 4WD (MFWD 4WD) and featured manual steering and mechanical disc brakes. It could be equipped with either a BC-144 diesel engine displacing 144 cubic inches (2.4 L) or a BD-154 diesel engine displacing 154 cubic inches (2.5 L). Both engines were inline, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, and offered 42 horsepower at 2100 RPM. Transmission offerings for the 444 included 8 forward and 2 reverse gears.
