The International Harvester 2444 is a versatile industrial tractor designed for various tasks. Available from 1967 to 1971 and built in Louisville, Kentucky, the 2444 could be fitted with either a 2.5 L four-cylinder gasoline engine, model C-153, or a similarly sized diesel engine, model BD-154, each with distinct bore and stroke measurements. When it came to transmissions, operators had the choice of a gear type with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, or a manual shuttle offering 8 forward and 8 reverse gears, enhancing the tractor’s maneuverability and productivity in industrial environments.
