Overview

The International Harvester 234 is a compact utility tractor that was manufactured by Mitsubishi in Japan for International Harvester between 1982 and 1984. This versatile tractor was available in both two-wheel and optional four-wheel drive configurations. It was powered by a robust three-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engine with a displacement of 51.8 cubic inches and an output of 18 horsepower at 2700 RPM. The IH 234 could be equipped with a gear transmission offering six forward and two reverse gears, or an alternative hydrostatic transmission with infinite speeds in both directions. Known for its solid performance and compact frame, this tractor measured a manageable 103.1 inches in length and 36.6 inches in width, accommodating tighter spaces and diverse farming tasks.
