Overview

The Fordson Super Major, a robust 2WD row-crop tractor, was produced by Fordson between 1961 and 1964 in Dagenham, England. It featured a 4-cylinder engine available in both diesel and gasoline variants, with power outputs of 54 hp. The Super Major was designed with a sliding gear transmission that provided 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, power assist steering, and differential mechanical disc brakes. The open operator station and a considerable fuel tank capacity made it suitable for extended use in the field.
