Ford 8970

The Ford 8970 is a powerful and versatile row-crop tractor that was part of the 70 Genesis Series, produced by Ford in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada from 1993 to 2002. This model featured a robust turbocharged diesel engine with a six-cylinder, liquid-cooled configuration, providing a substantial 240 horsepower. It came equipped with a full power shift transmission, featuring 16 forward and 8 reverse gears, allowing seamless power delivery and a variety of speed options for different agricultural tasks. The tractor could be equipped with either a 2WD or an optional 4WD system, accommodating diverse farming needs. Hydrostatic power steering and wet disc brakes contributed to ease of use and safety.
