Ford 861 Powermaster

The Ford 861 Powermaster is a 2WD utility tractor that was part of the 801 Powermaster series. Manufactured in Highland Park, Michigan, USA, by Ford from 1958 to 1962, this tractor offered rugged dependability for a multitude of tasks. It was available with two engine options: a four-cylinder gasoline/LP-gas engine, also identified as the Ford EAF, with a displacement of 2.8 liters producing 62.6 horsepower, and likewise a diesel version delivering 56.3 horsepower. Both engines were paired with an unsynchronized gear transmission comprising five forward and one reverse gear. Features included manual or optional power-assist steering, differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes, and an open operator station for comfortable maneuvering.
