Ford 4500

The Ford 4500 is a versatile industrial tractor that served various utilities from 1965 to 1975. Offered with either a three-cylinder diesel or gasoline engine, this tractor provided adaptability through its multiple displacement and power output configurations. The diesel engine had a displacement of 201.0 cubic inches and a power output of 56.5 horsepower, while the gasoline engine displaced 192.0 cubic inches producing a bit more power at 58.2 horsepower. Notably designed with a liquid cooling system, power assist steering, mechanical wet disc brakes, and a two-wheel-drive (4x2 2WD) chassis, it was built to handle different industrial tasks. It also featured the convenience of an open operator station as well as an optional ROPS for safety. With the ability to work with various attachments and a Category II hitch that could lift up to 2,000 pounds, the Ford 4500 was a robust machine of its time.
