Overview

The Farmall F30 is a 2WD row-crop tractor that was produced from 1931 to 1939 in Rock Island, Illinois, by Farmall, part of International Harvester. This tractor was powered by a 4.6 L (283.7 cu in) four-cylinder International Harvester engine that ran on distillate fuel, providing 30 horsepower at 1,150 RPM. With an unsynchronized gear transmission that includes four forward and one reverse gear and a dry disc clutch, the F30 was designed for a range of agricultural tasks. It featured manual steering, an open operator station, and was equipped with steel agricultural tires. The electrical system appears to be absent or unlisted, leaving the starting method to manual efforts.
