Overview

The David Brown 990 Selectamatic is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the Selectamatic series. The first generation was manufactured by David Brown in Meltham Mills, Huddersfield, England from 1965 to 1970. This tractor is equipped with a 3.2 litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, along with a gear type or partially synchronized transmission with 6 or 12 forward gears and 2 or 4 reverse gears. The engine generates 55.0 HP at 2,200 RPM. It features manual or hydrostatic power steering and brakes are of differential mechanical expanding shoe type.
